GIG HARBOR COMMERCIAL FISHING HOMEPORT | PL-SDP-22-0005/PL-SPR-22-0007/PL-DR-22-0040/PL-SEPA-22-0014

The City of Gig Harbor proposes to install a new float system from the existing Ancich Pier at Ancich Waterfront Park. The floats would be used as additional moorage for the local commercial fishing fleet. The float system would consist of a 280-foot floating dock, six 60-foot finger floats, and one 80-foot finger float. The floats will be held in place by twenty steel guide piles. Required mitigation will include the demolition of the remaining portion of the Jerkovich pier.
