Governor Inslee Announces Further Steps to Control COVID-19 Outbreak

In order to slow the spread of rapidly increasing COVID cases in our state and ensure that hospital and medical systems are not overwhelmed, the State is taking the very difficult but necessary steps to protect public health.

Governor Inslee Issues Travel Advisory for Washington State

Governor Jay Inslee has issued a travel advisory for Washington State, recommending a 14-day quarantine for interstate and international travel and asking residents to stay close to home.

Inslee joined California Governor Gavin Newsom and Oregon Governor Kate Brown in urging visitors entering their states or returning home from travel outside these states to self-quarantine to slow the spread of the virus.

Extension of COVID-19 Related Special Use Regulation Suspension

The current temporary suspension of Special Use Permit regulations and encroachment permit fees for qualifying businesses expires December 31, 2020 (Ordinance 1446).

Civic Center Closed to the Public

The Civic Center will be closed until further notice due to the on-going restrictions in effect caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Once a decision to re-open the Civic Center has been made, it will be announced in advance to the community.
